Coming Soon: Nothing Between You and Your Computer

Fat Albert wants to know what you all think about this technology mumbo-jumbo. He really feels like the advancement of software technology is the critical next step in the development of the computers. The end is in sight as far as hardware advancement is concerned. We have nearly maxed out the capabilities of the current parts. Therefore the logical next step is, in fact, software. Fat Albert really likes what Nintendo has done with the Wii (he owns one) and what Apple has done with the iPhone (wants one). He really feels like these are the kind of interfaces that people are capable of using and would find refreshing to use. However, Fat Albert does foresee some hurtles. Those hurtles are OLD PEOPLE. Sadly enough, as it goes, old people don't always like change. They are comfortable with the present technology and don't necessarily think that it needs to progress. So, although Fat Albert likes the idea of updating and advancing software, he thinks that it may take some time to become main stream.
